Aisya #6: Ada apa dengan nama

Suatu hari, sedang aku memasak ketam masak lemak, Aisya datang kepadaku membawa buku taskanya. Buku tersebut adalah buku sirah nabi dimana diceritakan serba sedikit tentang keluarga dan perjuangan Nabi s.a.w. Aisya membuka muka surat yang dipelajari di taskanya tadi lalu menunjukkan kepadaku.

Aisya: Ummi, this person has the same name like mine.(sambil menunjukkan nama Saidatina Aisyah yang dieja dalam bahasa Arab)

Ummi: Anti zakiyya habibti!!. Saidatina Aisyah ra was Prophet Muhammad's wife. Prophet Muhammad saw said, the woman she loved the most was Saidatina Aisha ra. I love Prophet Muhammad and I love everyone he loved, so I named you after her.

Aisya: But you've never seen her. How can you love somebody you've never seen Ummi?

Ummi: Just like we love Allah swt although we've never seen Him. We love the Prophets although we've never met them. And I love you too Aisya, even before you were born.

Aisya: Was she very nice Ummi?

Ummi: Oh yes sweety, she's very nice and generous. Let me tell you a story about her. One day, there's a beggar came to her house and asked for something to eat. At that time, she only had a handful of barley for her to break her fast. Saidatina Aisya ra said to her slave named Barira, "give the barley to the beggar, Allah will provide."  So, when Maghrib came she had nothing to eat so Saidatina Aisya ra opened her fast with some water. When her servant saw this, she sarcastically said, "Oh Allah will provide". Suddenly, there's a knock in the door. "knock knock knock". Hmm Aisya, can you guess who came?

Aisya: An Angel?

Ummi: hehe. Nope. A man from nowhere came and gave her a goat as a gift. And Saidatina Aisya ra said " I swear by Allah, none of you can be a true believer until your trust in Allah is stronger than that which he had in his palm of his hand." Can you see how much she trust in Allah?

Aisya: Yes. But Ummi, why did she help somebody she didn't know.

Ummi: We have to be nice to everyone Ya Aisya. Even to our enemy. Even to people who hurt us. Even to people who ignore us while we care so much about them. Even to those who hate us. or even to those who are trying to get away from us.. unless being nice will be harmful to us or to other people. Whoever is kind Allah will be kind to him. We don't know what is in people's heart. Sometimes people being mean to us because they care about us and sometimes they being mean to us because they have to. And one way to be nice to people is to talk nicely to them. Every word that come from our mouth is a du'a. So,when you talk to people, always call them by their real names as a du'a for them or call them by the nicest way you can. This is how we show respect to other people.

Aisya: So, I can't call Muhammad, Mat?

Ummi: Yup. But you can call him Ahmad. Prophet Muhammad saw said " *Call yourselves by the name of the Prophets. The names dearest to Allah are Abdullah and Abdul Rahman, the truest are Harith and Hammam, and the worst are Harb and Murrah.*" Oh, since we were talking about this, I guess if you gonna get another baby brother, I'll name him Yusuf. but I have to ask walid first. =) =)

Aisya: Another baby?????? Ummi, you are hurting me!!

erk...
(moga Aisya tak ikut perangai buruk aku. Amin.)
