Thankful

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.


Mr John said,

If we are not thankful for every little thing we have, we will easily get angry or frustated.

Be thankful when your boss smile at you.

Or when your child hug you this morning.

Or when you wife cooks for you.

Or when someone care about you.

And for everything.

Also,

We should be thankful, even when bad things happen to us.

Like when you fail your paper.

Or when somebody hurt you.

Or when you lost something you love so much.

Because whatever it is.

Being thankful will keep you strong.

*Today is Ummi's third day being a Petronas staff. And I just realized that working with Petronas means you will have to work with a lot of male staffs. But you are not allowed to cover your face for security purpose.

Tabung

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious Most Merciful.

"Actuary, why do you work with Petronas? You better work with insurance company, there you will make a lot of money."
"Why do you come back? You should just work in the States. I heard actuaries make more than 5 digits salary there"
"You are very important"
"No matter what job we give you, since you are an actuary, we know you will be able to handle it."

*Sometimes other people appreciate us, value us, and are thankful for our existence but not our loved one.

Kids,

Sometimes life is not easy.

There are times when you try to protect others, but they hate you. Or you may meet people who lose respect for you, when you care so much about them.And sometimes you may hurt, but you can only keep it to yourselves. And there will be times when you cry so bad at the masjid, because you can't hold your tears anymore.

Life always has it's ups and downs.

But there's something that keeps me strong.

"Cukuplah Allah bagiku. Tidak ada Tuhan selain daripadaNya. Hanya kepadaNya aku bertawakkal."
-Surah At-Taubah, ayat 129

*Tabung Haji gave me a tabung when I opened up a new account. Ummi's crazy but I tried to make myself forget my problems by being excited having that tabung. You should try sometimes. Haha. .
