Adikku y berusia 10 tahun telah mengeluarkan statement yang xleh blah beberapa hari lepas

*kitorang adik beradik sume perempuan*

tumblr quote #1

Jika mereka sibuk mencari cinta, biarlah kita sibuk mencari iman.. Jika mereka sibuk mencari pasangan, biarlah kita sibuk mencari keredhaan.. Jika mereka menangis kerana kecewa bercinta, biarlah kita menangis kerana dosa2 semalam.. Jika mereka cintakan kemanusiaan, biarlah kita cintakan Allah.. Jika mereka mendambakan kehidupan duniawi, kita dambakanlah ukhrawi..

Maaf

Doaku "Ya Allah, ampunkanlah dosa-dosa si fulan lakukan terhadapku"

Ternyata Allah sayang banget sama aku.

Friends

Narrated AbuHurayrah:

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: A man follows the religion of his friend; so each one should consider whom he makes his friend.

{Book 41, Number 4815 : Sunan Abu Dawud}

Allah s.w.t loves me. And I know that! Back in my childhood days, I entered a boarding school for my secondary education. MRSM to be precise. Alhamdulillah, I met many wonderful people there who taught me to be a good Muslimah. My roommates, Husna and Mardiana, they were the first to approach me with Islam. I remember they taught me about Mathurat and sunat prayers. Husna always pray salat Hajat before taking exams. There's this one time I got high fever and Mardiana took care of me. I always saw Yana read the Quran almost after each prayer and I found myself following her routine. Not to forget Fatirah, Tasha, Ain, Waheeda and Fizah who taught me great things about life. Oh Allah, thank you for giving me such nice friends. and I won't forget Miss Azlin, my homeroom teacher, who really cared and loved me.

I grew up then, went to other schools and yet I still met good people in my life. Thanks to Allah s.w.t for His guidance and never leave me alone. My advice, if you are a mother, I hope you know who your children's friends are. Kids; they listen to their friends more than their parents sometimes. And if you are not yet a mother, find yourself good friends. Pray to Allah swt if you can't find any, I'm sure He listens to your dua's

This post is dedicated to my friends(although I didn't tell them I have a blog).I want you to know that I love all of you!! Thank you for being part of my life =)

Ramadan in America

This is the third year I'm celebrating Ramadan in USA. To be honest it isn't as good as in Malaysia but still it is a good experience. The temp today is about 82F/28C which I consider to be really hot for this country and enough to make people stare at me because I'm wearing a veil to class.

But that's not really a problem. I love it when the non-muslims being curious about the Muslims. Why? Simply because it helps us to spread Islam.

My two days fasting aren't really good. I keep forgetting that I'm fasting and yesterday I went to the kitchen for about 3 times looking for something to eat but Alhamdulillah I didn't eat anything. On the first day, I went to the mosque for tarawikh prayer and met a lot of Arabs community here whom I knew most of them. I remember how awesome the Imam was because he memorized the Quran. Also I learned a new thing; the Arabs recite Qunut+other dua's in Witr prayer contrary to our culture in Malaysia since we only recite Qunut during the last 15 days of Ramadan.

Those who are celebrating Ramadan in Malaysia are very lucky. You have to be very thankful to Allah swt that you are living in a country in which the majority population is Muslim. I love to see people going to the Masjid after breaking their fast. Here, you can only see people waiting to enter the clubs at night. and there's no Bazaar Ramadan here plus there's not a lot of Halal food. So yeah, you eat what you cook. but it's still good in other way since it helps me to improve my cooking skills.

Actually I don't know what is my point writing this entry. I just wanna say, be thankful wherever you are and always be positive!

Salam Ramadhan

Assalamualaikum wbt

Yey it's Ramadhan! I was really nervous yesterday knowing that Ramadhan has come.Deep inside my heart, I'm afraid I won't spend this blissful month wisely. We may not live tomorrow, so grab our chances to pray Tahajjud, read the quran, give sadaqa and do any good deeds we can think about. So, last night was my first tarawikh. I couldn't remember the last time I went to State College mosque, but Masha Allah the facilities were getting better!

We had cctv in the mosque now due to some cases. Few months ago, we won a project to build a bigger mosque at State College. I'm not sure about the details but I hope the Muslim community here in State College can give full support and donate as much as we can to help build this mosque. Few days ago, an American woman just reverted to Islam at this mosque. Alhamdulillah. Insya Allah, I believe that one day, Muslim will become a larger community here in United States

Well I have nothing else to say. I just wanna wish Ramadhan Mubarak Sa'id to everyone. Taqabbalaahu minna wa minkum salihal a'mal. May Allah accept our good deeds.
